XXL PLAID SCARF

Handmade machine-stitched plaid using up-cycled scarves, bandanas, project remains, yarn scraps, dresses, and shirts. Primarily made of cotton, and constructed using locally sourced dissolvable stabilizer and thread.

The method for creating this piece was inspired by the PDX based sustainable fashion and textile designer, Oxana Ake, who generously shared her sustainable lace making process with students.
